New Kit

I purchased some Jenni Bowlin Studio papers a while back and thought I had better get my act together and make them up as kits.

I chose Tangerine Dream Collection.

Gorgeous, vibrant colours that just 'pop' off of your page.
And the best thing about this collection...it can be for either gender...

Birdhouse Money Boxes

Stellas Scrapbooking have the cutest money boxes I've seen in a while made by BumbleBee Crafts. I have made so many of these that I thought I had better make one for myself.

I punched out approximately 130 small circles, inked each one of them and then stuck them onto the roof to make it look like a shingled roof. Madness I know, but the end product was worth it.

I also embossed the fence with an embossed fence from sizzix, cut each piece out, stuck small foam dots on the base and stuck them around the base of the birdhouse.

The bird is a paper piecing that I put together. Fiddly but I just love doing them.

This is the finished product and I just adore it. I hope you like it too.

Don't worry....the little ledge under the bird slides out so you can pocket your money to buy more lovely scrapbooking products....

Well it's been quite a while since I've put a post up. So I better get my act together and put one up. My little boy turned a big 3 on saturday....time goes so fast.....we also had soccer break up on sunday, father's day. Had a great day. A very long day but great one....

I have now been invited to 2 weekend retreats to teach layouts. I am now putting them in kit form and selling them. Stella of Stella's Scrapbooking at Lawnton will be stocking them soon which I am totally excited about.

Clocks

I did a kaiser craft clock for each of my brother's and there partners and I wish I took some pics so I could show you. Lucky for me 1 of my brother's wanted another one so I am posting it to show you how it turned out. I didn't put the pics in this time as they wanted to choose there own which was great, as I really don't have many of him with his new partner...

I have also finished 3 of the 4 layouts for next months classes at Stellas Scrapbooking @ Lawnton so I will be posting a sneak peek very shortly.

Busy Busy Busy

Well haven't I been a busy little beaver over the past week or so. I haven't even had time to blog so let me tell you what I've been up to.
I have just mailed out 45 paper pieced 2in love birds to 3 customers, dropped into Stellas Scrapbooking Shop at Lawnton to drop off a canvas and a mother's day tin. Have done 4 layouts for classes at Blossies as well as spent a full day at Stellas writing down everything she sells to put onto her website. It's coming along great and I'm not even 1/4 of the way through her shop. I am now also teaching at Stella's with 4 classes next month. I can't wait. I will post some of the classes on here soon for a sneak peak but you'll have to be patient as there isn't enough time in a day for me to get everything done.
I hope everyone had a great easter and I can't wait for the kids to go back to school so I can have my 10 weeks holidays lol....

I was asked to do this canvas for a lovely lady at lawnton. It's a gorgeous picture and I didn't want to over do it as I wanted all the focus on the beautiful little girl.

Well it's been a few days since my last blog. Have just finished doing 4 mini lunch box tins plus 2 bandaid tins for an order. I've also just posted 4 sets of 3 paper pieced rabbits. I am now doing some work for a lovely lady who runs a scrapbook shop down at lawnton called "Stella's Stamping & Scrapbooking".
I have also just been commissioned to do an album for a 40th birthday, so I am also busy doing that. I have a few pieces up on ebay so look for my name ness358. I'll check back soon...

Custom pages

I've been doing alot of custom pages lately and I thought I would share a few I've recently done. I do all my own paper piecings so they are never completely the same....I try not to re-produce my custom pages as they are just that...'custom'....tfl....

Autograph Albums (own design)

Posted off the majority of my orders today so I have some room to move around my scrapbooking table. I had a special order for 2 autograph books for a kitchen tea. Each page has photo areas as well as a hidden pocket and tag that pulls out for your guests to sign. Both of these kitchen teas have approximately 60 guests so there is heaps of room for signing. I love how they turned out and I am sure the recipients are going to love them too. Back to work I go....well to my scrap room as I have heaps more orders to fill....
ps...still waiting on a call to pick up the last of my mini lunch tins so I can finish off another order....

Dolly Dress Album

Busy yet again on my next project. I received 2 orders for my dolly dress albums I make. They have many areas for photo's and pockets with pull out tags if you want to journal on them. I love making these dresses as they are so cute...I may have to design some boy overalls or something like that so the boys don't miss out....remember, I am always doing custom orders for people... :o)

Explosion Boxes

I spent today running around scrapbooking stores trying to find a particular tin I needed to do more orders. 1 shop I went to 3 weeks ago said they would be there by the following week. I rang and of course they weren't there. So I called in today and low and behold they are on back order. Couldn't ring me to tell me this so unfortunately this store has lost my business. The other store I ordered from last week said they would be in today but yet again not until thursday. I live a good 45 mins away from these stores and it's a fair hike...I suppose I'll take another drive thursday....
Soooooooo today I made some explosion boxes ( my specialty ) to sell. These sell like hot cakes and I am forever doing special requests for any occasion. If you would like to order one..just email me.

Easter Orders

I can't quite believe I finally have a blog!!!

The past 2 weeks have been spent finishing off special orders for easter. In total I have done 6 bandaid tins, 5 mini lunch tins (which I also covered on the insides as well), 2 album/autograph books for a kitchen tea and several layouts. I love what I do and I am so lucky that I can do it from home.
